Missed Appointments
Due to the number of patients failing to attend for their appointment this may mean that you may not be able to see the Doctor on the day that you wish to.

In an attempt to try and resolve this, the practice has developed the following policy:

If you fail to attend for 2 consecutive appointments or 1 same day (emergency) appointment without informing us we will write to you asking if there are any specific problems preventing you from letting us know. If you fail to attend for a further appointment you may be removed from the practice list and have to find an alternative GP practice.

pillsRequests for repeat prescriptions cannot be taken over the telephone as this makes it difficult for people wishing to make an appointment or requesting emergency visits, etc.

We require 48 hours notice of repeat prescriptions, which are issued by the computer. You are requested to use the reorder slip attached to the prescription and mark with a cross the items which you require. These reorder slips may be delivered to the surgery in person or sent via the post. If you require your prescription to be sent to you, kindly send a stamped addressed envelope with your request.

Alternatively, you may the form below to request your repeats online.  Please select your usual pharmacy.  We cannot send individual prescriptions to an alternative pharmacy.  If you wish to change the pharmacy your prescriptions go to you must inform the surgery either by telephone, in writing or by using the comment or suggestion option on this website.  We cannot process a change of pharmacy via this online repeat prescription option.

IF ANY MEDICATION ITEMS YOU REQUEST ARE NOT ON YOUR REPEAT PRESCRIPTION LIST, REGRETTABLY THEY CANNOT BE PROCESSED
