Missed Appointments
Due to the number of patients failing to attend for their appointment this may mean that you may not be able to see the Doctor on the day that you wish to.

In an attempt to try and resolve this, the practice has developed the following policy:

If you fail to attend for 2 consecutive appointments or 1 same day (emergency) appointment without informing us we will write to you asking if there are any specific problems preventing you from letting us know. If you fail to attend for a further appointment you may be removed from the practice list and have to find an alternative GP practice.

PMS Practice

Dear Patient,

The Local NHS Health Commissioner (Barking & Dagenham CCG ) has notified the Practice that with effect from the 1st October 2018, there will be a significant cut to the funding of General Practice services.

This reduction applies to local Practices holding a PMS (Personal Medical Services contract) of which your Practice is one.

We will be having our funding cut over a 2-3 year period. This is a very significant reduction, which we believe will have an impact on the services we can provide to you. We may not be able to offer the same level of service that you have previously experienced.

We are currently exploring options they may be of help to patient access in the form of e-consult, an online GP service.

We will endeavour to keep you updated as things develop over the coming months.

Best Wishes
